Scope of the work
A Next.js project starts by deciding how pages are rendered, what data they need and how search engines can index them. Implementation can cover React interfaces, metadata, performance and the server-side features the product requires.
Rendering choices depend on the content: some pages can be generated ahead of time, while others need data on request. Titles, descriptions, canonical links and sharing previews are also considered so each URL describes its page accurately.
Performance is considered alongside content and user journeys: image weight, data loading and page behavior on mobile. Rendering and indexing are checked for the relevant URLs instead of applying one choice to every page.
